AN AMAZ-ing report

Well, Greetings and Blessings to Our Heart To Heart E-Team Members!

Heart To Heart has just returned to Missouri from our third year as Winter Texan Artists in the Rio Grande Valley, TX. We spent January and most of February there singing at resorts, hotels and churches across the Valley to include singing at the Schlitterbahn Winterfest this year. We are so thankful to have witnessed many hearts uplifted and souls changed during this time and are just glad to be a tool for the Lord. We send out a very special thank you to the Comfort Suites on South Padre Island, Texas for hosting Heart To Heart during our Winter Texan season and for hosting our National Record Release Reception in February for the release of "I Will Stand By You" on Hope Street Music. There was a packed house, photo ops, a call from our record company, media everywhere, lots of great food and a special concert afterward by Heart To Heart. Thanks to David Mejorado, Manager of the Comfort Suites for everything you do for Heart To Heart! We'll be back next year!

Sharon & Jerry Mays, aka Heart to Heart from Branson, MO are a rising duo that's taking the Country Gospel Music arena by storm. They are multi-award winning singers/ songwriters and have had several Top 10 songs in the last three years. They spread their "family style" presentation and ministry from the strip in Branson, MO to the south Texas Rio Grande Valley each winter. You don't want to miss this amazing duo wherever and whenever you get the chance to see them. They are indeed, A-Mays-ing!!

We are so excited about our new recording project, "Pieces To Peace." Already, three songs from that album "Pieces To Peace" on Hope Street Music, "Brand New Man" (Independent) and "I Will Stand By You" on Hope Street Music have reached No. 1 on the radio playlists and our album is up for some awards this year. The Pieces To Peace project also has a bonus track with a segment of our radio program "The Branson Gospel Groove" at the end! We wrote seven of the songs on this album to include the three that have reached No. 1 on the RadioActiveAirplay Charts. This brings me to what I hope is our final request for your votes for a little while. We know you get tired of us asking you to vote but if you would take the time, ONE MORE TIME, we would be so grateful. SOUL REPORT: A young man in the Valley came to our concert at the Comfort Suites. We noticed he walked out a bit after the show then came back in to talk to us. He said his life was a mess and our songs "Pieces To Peace" and "I Will Stand By You" had really touched his heart. He walked outside, bowed his head and prayed, he said, for the first time in a VERY long time. Praise the Lord, he said, IT FELT SO GOOD!

The pastor's wife at a church in the Valley cried through a lot of our ministry time in song. Afterward, she came to say that her son had a lot of trouble and that our music and delivery of the Word gave her peace in knowing that together with the Lord, they could pull the pieces of their lives back together and gain peace. She said "You sang straight to my heart." GLORY! That's a God thing - not us.

After another concert at the Comfort Suites on South Padre Island, a gentlemen told us that he felt we were singing just to him, especially with our song "I Will Stand By You." He told us that he had had 5 heart attacks and a stroke, but he knew, even when he was "hanging by a thread" that God would not let him stand alone and that He was always with him. Brought tears to our eyes that our song seems to really be helping people through God.

We had person after person come to us in the past months to tell us that they really needed to hear what we were singing and saying and that we helped them through some difficult times and renewed their faith in a true and living God. GLORY! YOU JUST CAN'T GET ANY BETTER NEWS THAN THAT!

WHAT'S COMING UP??? Catch Heart To Heart in concert 3/23, 2:00 p.m. in Chanute, KS at the Nat'l Christian Motorcycle Assoc. Festival, then on Sunday morning 3/24 at Hope Chapel Assembly of God Church in Moran, KS. Then come to Branson on Friday, April 5, 7:00 p.m. to Treasure Lake Resort. Move on South to Coalgate, OK Assembly of God Church on Sunday AM, 4/7 and Grace Christian Fellowship Church in Coalgate, OK for the 4/7 PM services. Now, keep going South to the Dallas area. On Friday, 4/12 we will be at Bob Wills place, The Dove Creek Cafe in Roanoke, TX at 6:30 p.m.; Sat. 4/13, we will be in Kilgore, TX 7:00 p.m. for the Gospel/Bluegrass Festival, then on Sunday, 4/14 PM services at Omen Baptist Church in Arp (Tyler), TX. We need a Sunday morning service where we can minister for a love offering (uh and maybe lunch) on 4/14. If you are from the area and could use us, give us a shout. On Sunday, April 21, morning service, we will be ministering in Word and song at the First Baptist Church in Tallapoosa, MO (in Southeast MO). THEN come on out to the Great Smokie Mountains to Pigeon Forge, TN. Heart To Heart will be attending the Country Gospel Music Fanfest and Southern Gospel Music Fanfair Convention at the Convention Center there from April 25 through May 1. We need to book a church or event in the Pigeon Forge Area For Sunday, April 28, AM and/or PM. Please give us a shout if you can help us. Then we travel to Villa Ridge, IL on May 4 to minister in Word and song at the Shiloh Baptist Church at 7:00 p.m. On May 12 we will be sharing Mother's Day with the young men at the Springfield Boys Ranch at 3:00 p.m.

Having said all the above and you see our upcoming schedule, our predicament is that the transmission just completely (we have been babying it along) went out on our Trailblazer which is our main means of transportation for Heart To Heart. It's 12 years old with almost 200,000 ministry miles on it. We are looking for a Chrysler Town & Country Van 2011 or 2012 with low mileage (or equivalent vehicle for good dependable transportation) and well, you know, being a full-time gospel and family music group, we don't have much - any - money for it. We need help. If you know of a good deal or someone who might have a vehicle to help a ministry, please let us know as soon as possible. Without transportation, we cannot do the job the Lord has given us to do. People help people. That's what we do. If you know of a way to help, let us know. We could use it. We are praying about it and ask that you do the same.

Heart To Heart is planning a second Christmas project with us and Doug Thornton. It's always a joy to work with Doug; and we may be doing some "Christmas in July" dates this year so think about that and call us to schedule - this would be Heart To Heart AND Doug Thornton in concert. We are also planning to make another "Memories" project to be titled "Retro" and another main gospel project sometime this year, Lord willing. Got a lot going on and we are thankful for every opportunity.

We love you. We appreciate you. Every single prayer is felt. Every email, text, letter, word of encouragement is joy. We are grateful to every church, festival, theater, and community event who schedules Heart To Heart. We are also grateful for all the DJs, fans, promoters, friends and family for sharing our journey. We love and need ALL of you to help us be Servants to His Kingdom. If we can help you by praying for you, it would be our honor. If we can help you by coming to your church or event to sing or speak, please let us know. We will have a few slots left for our Christmas Celebration Tour with Heart To Heart and Doug Thornton but they are filling quickly since dates are limited. We still have good dates left in the 2013 schedule and are also booking into 2014. It's not too early to be planning your event, even for next year.

Lastly, don't forget to mark your calendars to attend the 83rd Annual MO/Mid-South Gospel Singing Convention, hosted by Heart To Heart, held at the Malden, MO Community Center on Friday and Saturday, September 20 and 21, 2013. This is the largest indoor event in the entire area each year and brings several hundred people to the concerts each day. We have over 26 of the finest gospel groups and singers in a multi-state area come to the stage for over 4 hours of great gospel music each evening. This even is free but a love offering with a suggestion donation of at least $5 per person is suggested. Church buses and vans are welcome. Snack bar is provided. Blessings always abound. Our artists have amazing talent and incredible hearts for the Lord. YOU WILL BE BLESSED! Tell your friends and come on to the Heartland for this huge event!
