Missionary & Ambassador to the Nations | A Precious Saint Goes "HOME"
![]() |
As ambassadors to the Nations, Ken & Linda Conrey devoted their lives
to ministry, and walked out the commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ to
“Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.” Since
1981, they were involved in various ministry capacities, including prison
ministry, food ministry, teaching, dance worship, music ministry &
foreign missions; the sole purpose being to point the way to the only
Savior of mankind, the Lord Jesus Christ! In Ken’s words, “It’s only through the teaching of the unchangeable principles of God's Word that we can offer hope to a world in such desperate need of a Savior,” |

| and
since July 2001, the Lord had sent Ken & Linda to teach and preach the
Gospel of the Kingdom of God in Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Venezuela,
Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, Ivory Coast, Kenya, and South
Africa. Over the years they saw God’s power demonstrated in miraculous ways, and with every new adventure they learned to put their faith and trust in Him and His unchanging Word. |
Our God is faithful and He is a covenant keeping God, and He will keep the Covenant He made with Ken and Linda, as this precious widow continues her life of surrender and service to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He didn’t bring her this far to leave her. Because His Word is truth, she can stand on it, knowing He will create the stability she needs in her life to build a strong foundation of faith to stand the storms of time.
| EDITOR’S NOTE: At 7:30 pm on Tuesday, 11/7/06, we were sitting in the Hotel Preston in Nashville, TN with this lovely missionary couple, enjoying the music of Mary James from California, talking about the music Ken had written, and laughing at some of his stories from the mission field. At 11:30 pm we were summoned to his hotel room by the frantic yelling of his precious wife, Linda, that Ken had fallen and they needed help. When we got there we started CPR, but after the heroic and compassionate efforts of Nashville paramedics and Summit Hospital Emergency Room staff, it was determined that Ken had already left this life before anyone got to him. Ken was 54 years old and he and Linda had been serving God in missions work for 25 years. We ask for your prayers for Linda as she focuses on continuing her life of service to the Lord without Ken, and your prayerful consideration of helping financially in any way you can by sending your love gift to Redemption Ministries Int’l, PO Box 245, Pegram, TN 37143. The elegant Hotel Preston in Nashville Tennessee is to be commended for their quick res- ponse and generosity to the needs of family & friends upon the passing of Missionary Ken Conrey while he was a guest of the hotel. Ken & Linda Conrey were there as personal guests of DJ Jeremiah Herrera whose weekly syndicated radio show is hosted by the Hotel Preston. Also present as guests of Jeremiah were Christian Country Gospel artists Mary James and her daughter Jessica, along with their band, who had come from CA to perform at the Hotel, & Gene & Micki Farington, Founders & Presidents of the Country Gospel Connection, the Christian Country Gospel News & Hope Street Music Group. |
