"Our Walk Consists of ALL we say and do and the daily choices we make -- in short, OUR VERY LIFESTYLE"

from the
PUBLISHER'S
PEN

Each of us has been given a unique talent to touch others in a way that no one else can. I’ve heard many Christians say, “But I don’t have any talent.” That’s definitely a trigger for me.
My next question is usually, “Well, what do you do?” Their answer might be “I’m a nurse” or “I’m just a stay at home mom.”
Well, if you’re a nurse, don’t you realize that you can minister around the world or in your own home town in places I could never go? And if you’re a stay-at-home Mom, you have been uniquely gifted at multi-tasking for nurturing purposes. Think about all the things you do as a stay-at-home Mom. (teacher, mentor, chef, seam-stress, artist, household engineer, etc.). You are operationally irreplaceable to the overall function of the environment you are in.
Don’t you know how God can use such a talented AND WILLING servant? We need to remember several things:

#1, God didn’t make any “junk.” You are the only “you” that He made and He has a specific plan and purpose to use you for HIS glory.

#2, you do not lose, until you quit or if you never start. You are not a "has been," you are a "will be" as you walk in your gifts and callings from God.

Just BE WILLING.  Say to yourself, “God, I don’t know what you want me to do, but whatever it is, I’ll do it. Just show me” -- and then be prepared for Him to do just that.
Keep moving forward in Jesus, or as the Word says, “pressing for the goal of our high calling in Christ Jesus.” Go for the GOLD!  You are a child of God and as a child of God you are HIS hands and feet in the earth. God desires to change the world by using us, just as ALL of eternity was changed for us by using Jesus and HIS sacrifice.

        Gene Farington

When you play as if you are small and insignificant and  have no purpose in God’s plan, it doesn't
serve to change anything, and it certainly doesn’t honor God. In time, you will find out that the area of your greatest testing will become the area of your greatest anointing.
According to John Paul Jackson, there are nine things that satan will try
to do to keep us from fulfilling God’s plan and purpose in our lives:

1. He will tempt us to doubt that God has even given you a destiny.

2. He will tempt us with guilt for even desiring a destiny.

3. He will tempt us with jealousy, so that we criticize others and their gifts.

4. He will tempt us with
an attitude of self- sufficiency, so that we will become isolated and not recognize our need of others.

5. He will tempt us with
an inordinate desire to be something other than what we are.

6. He will tempt us to pursue things too quickly and unethically.

7. He will tempt us with pictures of our past, to
blur our vision of our future.

8. He will tempt our
family to focus on our history, instead of our future.

9. He will tempt us to blame others for not promoting us, instead of realizing that promotions come from God.

   God’s Word says, "For
we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."
              Ephesians 2:10

Until next time, remember that you may be the only Bible anyone ever reads, and Merry Christmas.
