October Top 40

Leslie Martin is a tremendous new talent in Gospel Music from Tahlequah, OK. She is a singer/songwriter and her songwriting skills are far beyond her 23 years. The maturity of her lyrics tells you of her close walk with the Lord.  She began

writing songs when she was 14, and she started performing on stage when she was 17.
In addition to her songwriting skills, her voice is outstanding, and she is not limited in style, and she plays the guitar, the mandolin & piano. Leslie has been on many TV shows from Oklahoma to Nashville to Pigeon Forge, TN and places in between. She has been on the stage with Dixie Carter of “Designing Women” fame at Dixie's theatre in Tennessee, and she has performed on stages and ministered in churches in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri & other areas of the United States.
She has been nominated and won many awards, such as Favorite Female Soloist -- Music City Gospel Showcase. She was nominated for Female Vocalist, Female Horizon and Female Entertainer of the Year by the Country Gospel Music Guild, & she won the “Joe Shirley Dedicated To Ministry Award” at the Country Gospel Music Guild Convention in October 2006.
All the songs that she has released have charted at the top of the Charts with "Bring The Broken Pieces" going to #1, "Jesus Wins Out Every Time” reaching #2, and "Home" going to # 4 on the CGMG charts.
When Rick Wingerter was at the Guild Convention in Tennessee this past year, on his way home he visited friends and family in Tahlequah, Ok and decided to drop in and visit Leslie while he was in town. When he got home he called W.C. and told him, "W.C., that young lady is the real thing. She is totally sold out to the Lord.”
If you listen to her album and the songs that she writes, you can feel it. I have been wrong about people before, but deep in my heart I know this girl is the real thing. If you get a chance to hear Leslie sing or just be around her, you will be blessed.  For bookings and product information contact Leslie at:
